Export Control Specialist

  • Support the implementation of ZF Foreign Trade Internal Control Program and other processes and measures for foreign trade and monitoring the effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliant export control procedures on regional and plant level according to all applicable legislations and requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational work instruction or guidance based on country and regional specific legislations.
  • Perform export control risk analysis on legal entity and region level, identify gaps and drive improvement / optimization.
  • Provide professional legal advices to different export control inquiries.
  • Participate and provide necessary trade compliance related requirements & knowledge to the various projects in the region, e.g., the Export Control Classifications.
  • Closely monitor the export control regulation changes, understand the regulatory requirements, provide regular updates to internal business stakeholders and leaders, and provide recommended actions, as needed, to meet the both the legal and business requirements.
  • Support license management including license applications, license tracking and record keeping.
  • Organize the internal and external activities like training, seminar, dialogue, etc. to enhance collaboration with agencies and business export control compliance awareness.
  • Support and facilitate internal and external audit, maintain essential record keeping, and other compliance related activities.
  • Provide administration support to Foreign Trade and Governance Team
  • Other responsibilities as required and assigned by AP Export Control Officer.
