(Senior) Product Manager Vehicle Diagnostics

About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions, we are currently expanding our Digital Solutions team in China and looking for new colleagues to join us in Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as a (Senior) Product Manager-Vehicle Diagnostics:

• Define and manage Diagnostics products independently, but in close alignment with the regional R&D, sales, product line teams; sales team covers OE and Aftermarket business
• Analyze APAC regional markets, legal requirements and OE customer needs
• Define product strategy, business model, business cases and provide forecasts
• Define product requirements and roadmaps for Diagnostics
• Define and execute go-to-market and sales strategies in collaboration with the sales department and belonging business lines
• Support sales activities and create sales and marketing presentations/ collateral
• Conduct product trainings for key stakeholders
• Align customer requirements and product portfolio with product development (R&D) regarding functionality, scope, timing, delivery and quality

Your profile as a (Senior) Product Manager-Vehicle Diagnostics:

• Proficiency in automotive diagnostic protocols such as OBD-II, UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services), CAN, LIN, KWP2000, and DoIP.
• Experience with diagnostic scan tools, ECU communication software, and vehicle simulation platforms.
• Familiarity with tools like Vector CANoe, ETAS INCA, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, electrical engineering, computer science, information technologies, or similar qualification
• 8+ years of business experience in an automotive, IT and/or service sales or customer facing position – ideally in vehicle diagnostics business or similar
• Excellent team, communication, intercultural competency, motivation and networking skills, excellent manners towards customers, suppliers, partners, supervisors and employees
• Language skills: Chinese and English are mandatory, other languages are beneficial
