Customer Quality Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague of Customer Quality Engineer for our Division Car Chassis Technology at our location of Shanghai, ZFAP. 

Your tasks

• Main Objectives: Contribute to CDC localization project in China, secure a good preventive quality performance and safe launch.

• Quality planner for new projects (Quality target definition, APQP planning, quality gate review, launch readiness, supplier readiness, GP12, customer release...)

• Customer approval for mass production change.

• Customer audits and follow-up.

• CSR evaluation and negotiation.

• Customer complaint handling and problem solving with the team.

• Quality target definition for new project.

• Cross-functional activities. (meetings, workshops…)

• Sample quality assurance.

• Lessons learnt for new projects.

• Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Your profile

• Bachelor or master’s in mechanical engineering or vehicle engineering or related major. Min. 3 years working experience in automotive manufacturing enterprises, knowledge about passenger car requirement.

• Project quality, quality planning or customer quality experience is required. Overall quality systematic knowledge required. Quality Planning experiences required.

• Familiar with IATF16949, Quality tools, Poka Yoke, project management.

• Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability. German/Korean/Japanese would be a plus but not mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office software required.

• Problem solving skills. Self-motivated and strong sense of commitment on quality issues. Learning Agility and teamwork spirit. Good communication skills/coordination skills.
