We are looking for a new colleague Customer Engineering Manager for Division C at our location of ZFCN, Jiuting, Shanghai.

 

 Your task:

  • Leads and coordinates TECHNICAL requirements between project engineers and customers for global and/or regional projects and leads the SE team to successful nominations and technical agreements working in Tandem with Sales counterparts. Represents ZF Chassis Components tie rod design team to customers, production plants and suppliers.

  • Coordination of ongoing developments in contact with the customers. Coordination of technical issues within the framework of the project acquisition.

  • Develop an intimacy/proximity level with customer R&D department for optimal cooperation. Management of technical problems with active reporting of the development status to the Technical Centers. Promoting CC key product innovations to customers and getting technology release.

  • On-site partners to provide technical support for the customer.

  • Compliant with all company and IATF 16949 policies and procedures.

 

Your profile:

  • Working experience: 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive supply industry.

  • Proven competence in dealing with customers and suppliers. Know-how in the context of chassis component products. Proactive and cooperative approach towards problem solving. Willingness to travel frequently. Eloquent rhetoric.

  • Education: Engineer / Diploma in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, mechatronics or similar disciplines

  • English: Fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing; German is preferred but not required.

  • Computer: Proficient in MS-Office.
