Application Engineer

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in R&D Center at our location in Jiading, Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as an Application Engineer:

• Responsible for IBC, SBM (one-box with redundant unit system) local technical support such as EOL issue solving, vehicle test issue debugging, DTC decode, SW flash & NVRAM rewriting.
• Cooperate with EPM and resident engineers to provide instant technical support for customer deliverables during project development; (Development phase)
• Take lead for customer EOL issue investigation during customer launch phase, trace data acquisition and analysis, report documentation; (Production launch phase & post-SOP phase)
• Technical communication on issue investigation and technical consultant from customers. (Development phase)
• Technical support to Quality & PSE team, to solve 0KM & field claim and end user complaint. (post-SOP phase)
• Take lead of task force and drive internal team to solve the customer issue relevant to EOL test.
• Close communication with ZF application team to update issue investigation status, to obtain sufficient supportive information and tools.
• Besides routine training from ZF Braking engineering, keep major knowledge learning via Integrity, Windchill regarding HW & SW change, function description and customer requirement.
• Knowledge collate and share to internal team members including resident engineer/PSE/CQE.

Your Profile as an Application Engineer:

• Must have 3+ years of work experience in product applications and system engineering in automotive chassis system products, preferably in braking-related systems and products. Experience of interface customer is a MUST
• IBC/iBooster/eBooster/ABS/ESC/ development experience is preferred.
• Familiar with Vector CANape, CANoe, CANalzyer etc. software operation and UDS.
• Good read/write/oral English Skill.
