Account Manager

Overall Purpose of Job

  1. Implementing the assigned product line sales develop for Changan , Changan Ford and other COEMs in southwest region. Through good relationship building with customer to apply/promote ZF technology/products to customer to ensure the assigned product line penetrate to the market and health growth year by year and the sales objectives meet/beyond yearly KPI.

 

 

Major Responsibilities 

  • The assigned account/product line management: 30%
    • Fully responsible for the sales, new project, developing & SOP project management of the assigned account/product line.
    • To develop new customer and manage it.
  • New business hunting: 35%
    • To visit/meet with customer frequently to build the partner relationship and collect the business intelligences, including but not limited in project background, competition, customer sourcing strategy, O-chart and customer planning, etc.
    • To prepare the background PPT&PS and implement CQI process.
    • To coordinate engineering, purchasing, financial and plant to organize/review the inputs of Business Case.
    • Prepare the price strategy with the guidance of manager to make sure the best price approval and business win.
    • Quotation documentation preparation in line with company red lines and implement the price and commercial contract negotiation.
  • Supporting for developing project: 20%
    • To participate the necessary regular project meeting, and work with the cross functional team to prepare the related meeting files as well.
    • To coordinate ATC and ZF plants to resolve the delivery/quality/EC issues during the project development and delivering.
    • Onsite support for the customer event/meetings.
  • Regular tasks: 15%
    • To update and maintain the annual sales plan together with the team.
    • To prepare the annual GB negotiation materials and negotiate with customer.
    • To support plants to deliver the invoice and track/push/monitor the monthly payment.
    • To arrange the customer visit and related meeting.
    • To handle the temporary tasks.

 

Key Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Mature and responsible.
  • Willing to work under pressure and travel frequently.
  • Background in customer contract negotiations resolving commercial quality delivery issues.
  • Familiar with customer quotation processes and be able to develop close relationship with customer to maintain account profitability.
  • Engineering background is a plus.

 

Education & Work Experience

 

Education: Bachelor degree or above with Business Management or Trading  

              Bachelor degree in automotive engineering/mechanical.

 

Language: Proficient mastery of both oral and written English.

 

Experience: 3 years experience in multinational company, with sales experience preferably in the Automotive industry.
