AP Quality Excellence Manager

About the Team

The primary role of the AP quality excellence manager in Div U is to promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization within AP and global. Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality standard to align the plant and corporate within the Quality System and Policies into compliance with ZF TRW and customer specific requirements. Effectively interact with digital, QKAM, and plant to establish and maintain standards. Support and implement Quality improvements for project based processes. 

What you can look forward to as AP Quality Excellence Manager:

• Drive improvement within AP in digital programs to improve the efficiency of effectiveness of the quality system.
• Drive improvement in project based processes and see where to improve together with APQP and project team and support the team in key projects.
• Drive continuous improvement activities across supplier quality systems and the supply base where applicable
• Drive alignment and improvement in any opportunity for quality improvements together with QKAM and plant
• Manage quality support staff activities as input to quality leaderships
• Manage activities in investigation systems and reports (SupplyOn, QRCM, 8D, Cost Recovery, Supplier Quality Certification, etc. ) 
• Provide input to plant management functions & decisions
• Develop and maintain quality system policies and procedures

Your Profile as AP Quality Excellence Manager

• Knowledge of materials, processes and product coupled with specialized expertise in quality principles and theory, statistical methods and design experiments.
• Must have excellent PC, communication and human relations skills with the ability to cross multiple levels of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in oral and written English. Commercial level preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop supplier quality staff members, colleagues, and suppliers 
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on a management team that provides company leadership and direction 
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the peers and if applicable subordinates
