About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS), we are currently expanding our R&D teams across China and looking for new colleagues to join us in Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as a System Development Engineer-ADAS:

• The development of driver assistance functions for commercial vehicles. To this end, they become part of an international, cross-functional team that works according to agile methods (SCRUM)
• You are involved in the development of theoretical foundations, the prototypical representation of vehicle control functions as well as the testing of function prototypes in the vehicle and in the HIL/MIL test
• In addition, you will accompany the development and validation of vehicle control functions up to series release
• You will work closely with colleagues from system integration, application software development and system testing
• In addition, you coordinate with suppliers and customers

Your profile as a System Development Engineer-ADAS:

• Successfully completed studies, ideally in the field of electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering or physics
• First professional experience in the fields of control engineering, vehicle technology and vehicle dynamics
• Knowledge and experience in the field of high performance computing, sensing, perception, SOC, fusion, object optimization and function algorithms development
• Knowledge and experience in the field of driver assistance systems for cars or commercial vehicles as well as experience with tools such as MATLAB Simulink and ADTF or alternatively: Dealing with comparable topics as part of the master's thesis or doctorate are advantageous
• Driving license of categories A/B (Bus/truck driving license) advantageous
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English as well as a strong ability to work in a team
