Your Role

  • Responsible for performing supplier-related activities surrounding process control, APQP, and quality launches for new or modified products, in order to support and fulfill the requirements of internal and external customers, all while ensuring local adherence to global quality objectives and corporate standards.
  • Tracking of actions and intense follow up with suppliers and ZF internal departments (such as Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Logistics) is necessary.
  • In addition to this it is necessary to be consultant and hands on to achieve best results for ZF and our customers.
  • As software quality expert you take over the responsibility for the continuous improvement and further development of the ZF supplier base
  • Evaluate new software suppliers in terms of quality to facilitate the implementation of flawless projects
  • Perform assessments, audits, problem analyses on supplier base and drive continuous improvement plans to resolve findings and ensure conformance with customer and ZF requirements
  • Check software work product deliverables at key quality gate reviews
  • Monitor and report supplier performance (KPIs), quality issues and development actions
  • Perform software risk management through various phases of product development
  • Provide support to business at supplier escalations

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in software engineering / computer science or comparable qualification 
  • Several years of professional experience in software development or software quality assurance
  • Familiar with agile methods, engineering processes like ASPICE and state of the art software development
  • Professional and confident in conversations with all management levels up to the board of directors (ZF internally / and at the supplier side) 
  • Team player who is proactive, quality-conscious, customer-oriented and results-oriented 
  • Quick learner
  • Flexible for extensive travels
