Software Engineer

Job Description

Key purpose

Support the local system engineer on all software related topics for the multi domain CCU program, maintaining software requirement alignment with HKMC and supporting integration and test activities at the customer.

Main accountabilities and deliverables

• Support the system engineer in managing software requirement reviews and change management activities with HKMC.
• Work with the global software team to develop and maintain software requirements, specifications, and interface definitions.
• Support hardware and software integration activities, including vehicle level integration at HKMC.
• Support system level testing at HKMC, troubleshooting software related topics.

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in software engineering, computer science, electronics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in automotive embedded software development or software requirements engineering.
• Working knowledge of software requirements management, specification writing, and change management processes.
• Experience supporting hardware and software integration and debugging in a vehicle environment.
• Experience working with OEM counterparts; HKMC experience is an advantage.
• Korean and English working proficiency, with the ability to work across global teams and time zones.
