We are looking for a new colleague in our department "Global Operations Excellence" at our location in Schweinfurt.

Your tasks:

Acts as a thought leader and subject matter expert in supply chain planning to assist in developing a vision for improvement efforts to provide a distinct competitive advantage in the market for the organization
Creates in collaboration with OPS Excellence leadership and deploys team change road maps covering footprint, geo coverage, logistics standards in terms of technology, processes and service level
Maps the level of expertise and develops training planning to ensures the appropriate expertise is available in the locations
Enforces optimization and simplification of reverse logistics for remanufacturing, warranties and other customer returns categories
Actively participates in CAPEX planning across locations/regions, ensuring roadmap feasibility. Works with financial teams on business cases for automation and systems developed through roadmap to get approval on capital expenditure

Your profile:

In-depth knowledge in Distribution Center operations
In depth knowledge of transportation modes and distribution network
In-depth knowledge and competence of business management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources)
In depth knowledge of supply chain network design
Proven track record in delivering logistics and supply chain optimization projects
