About the team:

This position is part of the Supply Chain Design Sub-Job Family, from the Material & Distribution job family, and includes jobs related to planning and delivering the fast and efficient flow of goods from the sender to the receiver as well as preparing and delivering of all needed documents.

What you can look forward to as Transportation Freight Specialist:

• Coordinate and schedule inbound & outbound land, air, ocean, domestic shipments for NAFTA region to ensure compliance with carrier and plant requirements.
• Instructions & follow up with Customs Broker for the goods to be import & export.
• Analyze shipment delivery results and exceptions to make cost/service decisions.
• Freight billing auditing & approval with the existing platform (CASS/NVISION)
• Preparation & Maintenance of daily transit shipment reports in a timely manner
• Monitor any potential delays and work with the respective team to take an action & resolve.
• Daily communication with Forwarders, Asset Carriers, Customs Broker, Suppliers, Customers
• Identify and resolve delivery related issues through timely communication with internal/external users at plant.

• Bachelor’s degree in international commerce, Administration or related field.
• 2 or 3+ years of experience in Traffic & Customs Area and/or Materials Planning. Knowledge in Logistics.
• English speaking & verbal ability.
• Transportation knowledge (Ocean/Land/Air/Domestic).
• Communication skills.
• Problem solving.
• Proactive, committed, responsible.
• MS Office Excel.
