We are looking to hire a Sr. Supply Chain Specialist - Transportation & Freight for our location in Santa Rosa, Queretaro.

What can you look forward as a Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Transportation & Fregiht:

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Transportation & Freight is reponsible of managing day - to day freight operations, preparation of shipments report.

• Also you will coordinate and schedule inbound & outbound & domestic land freight shipments for NAFTA region to ensure compliance with carrier and plant requirements
• Give Instructions & follow up with Customs Broker for the goods to be import & export
• Analyze shipment delivery results and exceptions to make cost/service decisions , freight billing auditing & approval with the existing platform (CASS/NVISION)
• Preparation & Maintenance of daily transit shipment reports in a timely manner
• Monitor any potential delays and work with the respective team to take an action & resolve
• Daily communication with Forwarders, Asset Carriers, Customs Broker, Suppliers, Customers
• Identify and resolve delivery related issues through timely communication with internal/external users at plant
• Monitoring and resolution of discrepancies and claims
• Escalating problems when necessary
• Performing other duties assigned by Transportation Manager in accordance with established company policies & procedures

Your Profile as Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Transportation & Freight:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce, Administration or related field
• 2 or 3 years in Traffic & Customs Area
• English speaking & verbal ability
• Traffic & Customs for imports & exports
• Transportation knowledge (Ocean/Land/Air)
• Communication skills
• Problem solving
• Proactive, committed, responsible
• MS Office Excel
