About the Team

The Assembly Quality team ensures that products leaving the manufacturing lines meet ZF’s strict quality standards and customer expectations. The team works closely with production, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, and program management to prevent defects and drive continuous improvement. Their work is essential to maintaining process stability, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting ZF’s “Zero Defects” culture.

What you can look forward to as Sr. Quality Engineer (Assembly):

• Validate engineering changes, create required documentation, and lead their implementation on assembly lines.
• Maintain complete and updated PPAP documentation, including process diagrams, AMEFP, Control Plans, job instructions, and traveler documents.
• Review and revalidate MSA studies, initial capability studies (Cpk), and relevant quality records.
• Create, update, and validate visual aids and DLN (E‑213) documentation.
• Lead improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap and enhancing process stability.
• Drive structured problem‑solving activities, including leading 8D analyses.
• Conduct audits on assembly lines to ensure compliance with process standards and customer/regulatory requirements.
• Support production teams by analyzing quality deviations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Your Profile as Sr. Quality Engineer (Assembly):

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly quality roles.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to travel and work occasional off‑shift hours when required.
• Knowledge of PPAP, AMEFP, Control Plans, MSA, capability studies, and engineering change processes.
• Experience with problem‑solving methodologies and quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and root‑cause investigation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and cross‑functional teams.
