About the Team

Our Engineering Change Management team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless implementation of engineering changes for new programs. We work closely with corporate engineering, program management, and global prototype teams to meet customer-specific requirements and maintain compliance with international standards. The team thrives on collaboration, precision, and timely execution to support ZF’s commitment to quality and innovation.

What you can look forward to as Head of Engineering Changes.

• Supervise and manage the Engineering Change area to ensure implementation according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate with corporate teams for CR (Change Request) information and timing aligned with customer milestones.
• Monitor cost estimation, manufacturing review, and approval of engineering changes impacting the plant.
• Oversee activities of Engineering Change Coordinators in Windchill and ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
• Lead weekly meetings with local and global teams (Santa Rosa, China, Koblenz, Germany).
• Ensure timely execution of engineering changes and prototype sales monitoring.
• Support audits and compliance with IATF, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other corporate standards.
• Collaborate with Operations and Service Parts teams for production availability and new parts coordination.

Your Profile as Head of Engineering Changes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry and engineering change management.
• Advanced English proficiency; strong communication skills for global coordination.
• Knowledge of systems such as Windchill and QAD; familiarity with quality standards (IATF, ISO).
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.
• Availability to travel as needed.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
