Materials Planner

About the Team

You will join a dynamic supply chain and materials planning team responsible for ensuring consistent production flow and optimal inventory levels. The department collaborates closely with suppliers, production, logistics, and engineering to support seamless operations. The team values proactive communication, structured planning, and commitment to continuous improvement. What you can look forward to as Materials Planner:

• Planning and ordering production materials via SAP (PP, MM), including full MRP management.
• Negotiating and following up with suppliers regarding delivery lead times, freight, and inventory control.
• Monitoring requirements, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely material availability.
• Reviewing MRP output and preparing purchasing schedules aligned with production needs.
• Managing inventory levels, fill rates, and material scheduling in alignment with plant targets.
• Communicating with customers regarding forecasts, investigations, and ordering updates.
• Coordinating initial expediting of production materials according to scheduling parameters.
• Implementing engineering changes, including phase-in/phase-out processes and supplier chargeback administration.

Your Profile as Materials Planner:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning or a similar role, in an automotive company. 
• Experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with TS 16949.
• Strong knowledge of SAP for Materials Planning and Production Processing.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes.
