We are looking to hire a Materials Planner er to join our team at San Luis Potosi.
 
What you can look forward as Materials Planner:

• Plan and order material via SAP or other tools as needed/Negotiate and follow up with suppliers on lead times and freight to control inventory.
• Review MRP production and develop parts purchasing schedules based on production requirements and associated activities, and issue parts purchasing schedules to suppliers to support a smooth operation.
• Manage inventory, including parts scheduling, fill rates, inventory levels in line with plant targets, and produce associated reports.
• Communicate with the customer on forecasting, research, ordering, and information distribution.
• Responsible for the initial release of production material to the plant according to schedule parameters /Work with interfaces to develop and improve parts planning methods and capacity utilization.
• Improve inbound delivery performance, inventory turn rates, and logistics costs.
• Monitoring compliance with timely material deliveries /Operational understanding of materials control /Knowledge of ERP planning modules.

Your profile as Materials Planner:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• +3 years of experience in automotive industry & logistics
• Direct experimentation on SAP MM
• Negotiation skills to reach to optimum results with the global and local suppliers
• Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Software, ERP systems)
• Broad knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain planning.
• Experience with demand forecasting and/or planning methods.
• Fluent english
