About the Team

 
The Manufacturing Engineering team at Chassis Solutions focuses on designing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing systems to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, the team ensures compliance with ZF standards and customer requirements. It plays a critical role in launching new manufacturing projects and supporting technical operations across the plant.

What you can look forward to as Manufacturing Engineer:

•  Plan, implement, and optimize assembly lines and manufacturing systems.  
• Lead process improvements and engineering changes aligned with safety and quality standards.  
• Support new manufacturing project start-ups and provide technical assistance to internal teams.  
• Configure Shopfloor solutions including BOM assignments and workflow setups.  
• Monitor and maintain KPIs such as CPK, OEE, and machine cycle times.  
• Develop and maintain process documentation including standardized work and assembly manuals.  
• Oversee standard work audits and ensure effective use of budget.  
• Optimize technical equipment settings (e.g., nut tighteners, presses, wheel alignment).

Your Profile as Manufacturing Engineer:

• Engineering degree with 10+ years of professional experience.  
• Fluent in English with strong problem-solving methodology.  
• Advanced skills in Excel, data analysis, and executive-level data presentation.  
• Knowledge in Core Tools, SPC, torque and assembly processes, and JIT/JIS environments.  
• Desirable experience with AGV systems. Minitab, AutoCAD, Power BI (basic), and programming.  
• Familiarity with standards: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NOM 035, NOM 036.  
• Soft skills: communication, teamwork, leadership, conflict management, decision-making.  
• Technical competencies: SolidWorks, Siemens PLC & HMI, GD&T, 5S, LOTO, line balancing, digitalization.
