Job Description

What you can look forward as DC Support Team Professional:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI systems to ensure smooth electronics data exchange with partners
  • Manage EDI workflows, map data exchanges, and implement new EDI processes as required by business or partner needs
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to address EDI-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate data transfers
  • Provide first and second-level support for internal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, desktops, and other devices
  • Resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network, escalating to third-party vendors if necessary
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and applications
  • Ensure data integrity and security across EDI and IT systems, implementing and following company security policies
  • Conduct regular audits, system backups, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Serve as a point of contact for EDI and IT-related inquiries, providing timely support and troubleshooting assistance to internal users
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on EDI and IT system best practices, ensuring a smooth user experience
  • Identify opportunities to enhance EDI processes, IT infrastructure, and overall operational efficiency
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, new software implementation, and process automation

 

Your profile as DC Support Team Professional:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in EDI management, IT support or a related field
  • Familiarity with EDI standards; EDIFACT, ANSI X 12 and experience working with EDI tools and software
  • Excellent oral and written communication in both Japanese and English
  • Knowledge of networking, IT infrastructure, and system administration
  • Experience with databases and data mapping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
