We are strengthening our team at ZF Mobility Solutions GmbH at the Regensburg/Ingolstadt location for a mandatory internship for the duration of 4-6 months. 

 

Shape the future of mobility working in the highly innovative field of Autonomous Transport Systems (ATS) for people and goods. The automation of mobility with efficient, clean and safe systems is an important contribution to climate protection and the quality of life in the future. We are looking for motivated support for our sales engineering team. 

 

 Your tasks:

  • Support in R&D to develop application project concepts
  • Check the feasibility of an ATS in a defined customer environment in co-operation with sales team
  • Derive system requirements from the customer needs
  • Development of customer-related solution concepts for the application and defining System boundaries
  • Verify delta in between application and core product
  • Support system and KPI calculation of the ATS and support in internal tool development for automation of acquisition phase
  • Working in interdisciplinary and cross-project teams as well as close coordination and reviews with all involved stakeholders. 

 
Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field 
  • Initial experience in product development or systems engineering, preferably in an automotive or public transport environment is advantageous
  • Good communication skills in contact with customers, project partners and employees as well as ability to work in a team, work independently and think logically  
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office
  • Interest in the development of an Autonomous Transport System
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
