VAVE Specialist

You will be part of the global VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) organization within ZF’s Materials Management function. The team collaborates closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Finance to drive product cost‑down initiatives. Working in an international environment, you will support continuous improvement and innovation across multiple locations and product lines.

• Achieve targets in respective cluster which was agreed according to OP planning year on year.
• Strategic partner for VAVE Team leaders in locations (worldwide; member of the VAVE Team).
• Idea Generation & assist in continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance of ZF Products.
• Conduct Innovation workshops with Internal & External stake holders (suppliers) for Cost Down ideas.
• Benchmarking of Competitor products and propose feasible cost saving ideas.
• Gain approvals to Engineering change requests, Schneko update/revise the project plan and report status to VMT Team.
• Execute the project plan, implement mechanisms to measure, record progress, and conduct ongoing analysis of, risks, and changes, as well as update/revise the project plan and report status.

• Engineering graduate with Mechanical or Electronics background.5+ years of work experience preferably in Value Management in Automotive Industry.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Significant experience in Automotive business & local market in responsible cluster.
• Experience in defining concepts, strategy and execution together with multiple stakeholders.
• Rigor in managing targets; Fostering collaboration & empowerment.
