Quality Planner Inhouse - Mechanical

We are looking to hire a Quality Planner Inhouse - Mechanical to join our team at Saltillo.

 

Responsibilities: 
 

  • Central Quality contact for the industrialization of new projects.
  • Evaluate and ensure feasibility together with the industrialization team (characteristic prognosis).
  • Participation in risk analyses (e.g. design/system FMEA).
  • Implementation of lessons learned measures to minimize nonconformity costs and risks.
  • Creation of control plans for prototypes, pre-production, safe launch and handover to series production.
  • Define and implement measurement systems according to control plan.
  • Define cleanliness and traceability concepts in new projects.
  • Definition of type and scope of requalification check.
  • Perform and moderate risk analyses (process FMEA).
  • Validation of the implemented processes (characteristic validation).
  • Releasing the process in new projects ( failure simulation / workstation release).
  • Application and training of relevant quality methods/tools.
     

Requirements: 
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related engineering.
  • Alternatively completed technical training with further training as a technician or specialist.
  • 3+ years of experience in related positions.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality planning, SPC, measuring technology, risk analyses, and quality methods desirable
  • MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-initiative, independent working methods, and assertiveness
  • Experience in automotive industry.
  • English – business conversational.
