About the Team

The EV Business Unit is driving the development and profitability of innovative solutions for the evolving automotive industry. As part of a highly collaborative and international environment, the Controlling team works closely with Business Partners, Portfolio Management, Program Management, and senior leadership to ensure sustainable financial performance across projects. The team plays a key role in supporting strategic decisions through robust financial analysis, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.

What you can look forward to as EV Project Controller:

• Independently coordinate and prepare profitability calculations for projects within the EV Business Unit.
• Collect, monitor, validate, and assess the plausibility of financial and operational input data from various stakeholders.
• Perform consistency checks, deviation analyses, and identify key cost drivers to support informed business decisions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor cost reduction measures and sustainable cost optimization initiatives.
• Act as a key interface between Business Partners, Controlling, Portfolio Management, and Business Unit Management.
• Support budgeting, planning, and forecasting activities for the EV Business Unit.
• Prepare reports, financial analyses, and management presentations for portfolio and business reviews.
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve controlling tools and reporting processes.

Your Profile as EV Project Controller:

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of cost structures, quotation management, and automotive business processes.
• Knowledge of SAP/R3 and advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Teamcenter Product Cost Management (TcPCM) is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a solid business and financial understanding of key performance indicators.
• Confident communicator with assertiveness, resilience, and strong intercultural and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English language skills; German language skills are an advantage.
