What you can look forward to as Customer Quality and Warranty Engineer:

 

  • Manage and respond to customer complaints, quality alerts, and warranty claims in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor customer portals daily to track performance metrics, complaints, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and resolve quality issues.
  • Approve material returns and credit notes, ensuring accurate SAP entries and documentation.
  • Support audits and customer visits, ensuring compliance with quality systems like IATF-16949 and BIQS.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with customer quality data, reports, and KPIs.
  • Assist resident engineers with logistics, tools, and internal communications to streamline field operations.
  • Participate in new product launches and ensure alignment with APQP and MPOK requirements.

 

 

Your Profile as Customer Quality and Warranty Engineer

 

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, with a specialization in Quality.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Customer Quality, or Warranty Management.
  • Proficient in GD&T, Core Tools (APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, PPAP), and SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of IATF-16949 and customer-specific quality systems (GM, Stellantis, Ford, ZF).
  • Skilled in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
  • Advanced English proficiency; German is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work in a hybrid (occasional home office) model.
