About the Team

The Value Management team in North America focuses on identifying cost reduction opportunities and localization projects. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Suppliers, the team drives innovation and cost savings. Their mission is to deliver continuous improvement and strategic value through collaboration and efficiency.

What you can look forward to as Value Management Program Buyer:

• Identify and develop cost savings projects through resourcing and technical design changes.  
• Coordinate supplier meetings to generate material cost reduction ideas.  
• Use cost analysis, raw material knowledge, and benchmarking to support localization efforts.  
• Lead workshops and tandem calls with cross-functional teams to brainstorm savings opportunities.  
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams through project milestones.  
• Monitor and report on cost reduction performance versus targets.  
• Prepare and present business case approval reviews.  
• Execute localization and cost reduction initiatives.

Your Profile as Value Management Program Buyer:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive component purchasing.  
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or engineering.  
• Skilled in APQP and/or project management tools and methods.  
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.  
• Proficient in SAP/ERP, Google platforms, and Microsoft Office.  
• Able to manage multiple tasks with high motivation.  
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, statistics, PPAP, and product costing.  
• Advanced English proficiency.
