We are looking to hire a Metallurgist Engineer to join our team at Querétaro.

Responsibilities

• Oversees testing of metals in the met lab for strength of metals.  
• Testing of incoming materials metals and in-process metals.
• Follow-up of procedures for the verification and calibration activities, within the magnitudes that apply.
• Provides metallurgical technical support in the new projects development.
• Welding processes
• Laboratories management 

Requirements: 

• Degreed in Metallurgy and Metallurgy certification Highly recommended.
• The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• With experience in Minitab, microscopes, various lab testing equipment.
• Knowledge in Processes > Machining, Assembly, Grinding, induction and furnace heat treating
• Knowledge in Machinery > Thermal imaging, calibers, cutoff saw, microscope, precision measuring equipment, CMM.
