Position Summary: ZF is looking for an innovative, motivated, and passionate student to add value to our team in a Quality Engineering Internship role. While providing valuable real-world experience, ZF’s internship program will sharpen your technical skills, diversify your network, and enhance your professional development. 

Responsibilities: 

• Review and comprehend different types of specifications developed within ZF engineering, our suppliers, and OEM customers 

• Prepare engaging presentations, summaries, and product briefs to share with the cross-functional team and Quality Engineering Management 

• Lead focused projects seeking to find solutions that are novel while adhering to the best practices of engineering excellence 

•  Assists engineers and technicians in the set-up and performance of tests 

• Updarte and review the PPAP and Record of Conformance process
• Review the  processes for quality audits scheduled by customers
• Participate in Initiating corrective action request for customer complaints, nonconforming material returns and warranty claims
• Particiapte in  auditing suppliers
• Review supplier-caused defects and make final disposition
• Follow-up for PPM and Incident Rate targets
• Follow-up with purchasing to assure receipt and processing of supplier PPAPs
• Timely delivery of required reporting

• Qualifications: 

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent. Enrolled full-time at an accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills 

• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Display personal maturity and a high level of professionalism
