Software Application Development Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Implementation of vehicle- and customer-specific data field coordination for driving functions and the TraXon driving strategy in close collaboration with customers and partners
• Integration of TraXon into the customer-specific vehicle environment (engine control, main computer, brake system, etc.)
• Support in the further development of transmission and engine functionality in close consultation with customers and partners and the relevant departments in Friedrichshafen (definition of system requirements, specification of functions)
• Implementation of verification tests for drivability, error reactions, system availability and safety
• Independent and responsible planning, coordination and implementation of vehicle tests
• Accompaniment of negotiations with internal and external customers and partners
• Organization, supervision and management of projects or sub-projects.

Your Profile:

• Master’s or Engineering Graduates in EEE/ECE/Instrumentation or Mechatronics with 3 – 6 Years of relevant experience in software application development
• Knowledge in software testing
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot computer, and equipment problems when working in remote customer locations
• Experience with CANape, CANalyzer, ClearCase, ClearQuest, or DOORS and Matlab/C-Code is beneficial.
• Must be capable of learning other software packages as required (SAP, ClearCase/ClearQuest, etc.)
