Product Management - Friction

Job Description

About the team:

Holds product knowledge of friction material, as member of Product Development Process to execute Category tasks for New Product Introductions (NPI), Change Management and Phase Out (technical variants definition, product information maintenance.

What you can look forward as Product management :

• Manage the full product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out, ensuring alignment with ZF Group strategy and customer needs.
• Act as the primary interface to customers for all product-related topics, including technical and commercial discussions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production) to address customer requirements and issues.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products, and pricing to maintain competitiveness.
• Maintain product documentation, specifications, and change records. Lead customer presentations, audits, and visits related to product portfolio.

Your profile as Product management:

• 5-10 Yrs of experience in Product management, specification & development processes
• Knowledge of ZF products, footprint, structures and processes, in particular Product Development Process
• Should have experience in new business development/Set up from the scratch.
• Strategic and analytic thinking and active execution of Product Strategy targets
• Negotiating, influencing and relationship management skills
• Drive for results and execution. Should be willing to travel in India is mandatroy.
