Job Description

What you can look forward as Manager - Supplier Quality Assurance:

• Manage and monitor supplier quality performance in line with ZF standards.
• Support suppliers through GDPEP phases to ensure readiness for serial production.
• Review and approve PPAP submissions according to ZF and customer requirements.
• Conduct process and system audits and verify corrective actions.
• Lead structured problem-solving (8D, 3x5Why, Ishikawa) for supplier-related issues. Support new product launches and engineering changes with risk-based quality planning.
• Drive continuous improvement actions to enhance supplier capability and reduce defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project and quality expectations.
• Monitor supplier KPIs (PPM, 8D timing, audit performance) and trigger escalations when needed.
• Support internal quality functions in customer audits, warranty analysis, and preventive actions.

Your profile as Manager - Supplier Quality Assurance:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Engineering/ Industrial Engineering
• Experienced in supplier performance evaluation within the scope of VDA 6.3, including the effective use of associated assessment tools and methodologies.
• Minimum 8+ Years’ experience in Quality, preferably Supplier Quality Assurance
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and problem-solving methods.
• Experience with ISO9001 or IATF 16949 audit standards.
• Familiar with GDPEP or equivalent supplier development processes. Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style with accountability for results.
