Position : Head of Catergory Managemnet, India - Passenger Car. 
To handle all three categories for Region India.

 

Reports to Solid Line : Head of Regional BL Passenger Car
Dotted Line: Head of Aftermarket Global Categories

 

Work Location : Pune (Baner)

 

Key Purpose : Provides regional voice of customer, market and business as input to the global category strategy, differentiating product offering to competitors. Accountable for regional category strategy to achieve sales & profit growth targets. Drives Product Line sales in the region and derives opportunities to improve SoW. Full E2E Product Range Development & Lifecycle Management, driving all cross-functions to ensure timely delivery.

 

Your Tasks:

  • Define regional strategy for India for each of the 3 BL PC categories & responsible to ensure execution
  • Manage product-related workstreams to guarantee timely execution of regional category - and corresponding product lines - strategy deliverables, growth and profitability improvements activities to achieve the regional targets
  • Accountable for delivering output of E2E Product Range Development (GDPEP) and Lifecycle Management activities as per OP and SP, for OES and IAM including channel shift for OE Series conversions, initiating all-makes re-engineering and define product specification in line with market and customer specificities in cooperation with Engineering, in order to deliver defined target product coverage and speed to market, EOP and EOSO process, change management process in IAM and OES
  • Represents Aftermarket Swimlane within Serial GDPEP during Application Phase; Timely eBOM compilation and product industrialization including OES range definition based on Customer application
  • Drives product line sales in the region. Represents category expertise towards customer base, underwriting the ZF category offering. Identifies regional customer needs, and derives corresponding opportunities to improve SoW. Supports tender opportunities for key customers, from range gap to creation of biz case together with BL Controlling.
  • Ensures support to other regional teams for products out of their regional range
  • Provide regional inputs to the Global Category Strategy leader 

 

Your Profile:

  • Strong Technical Sales / Product Management/ Product development background
  • Long term (10 yrs. +) experience of aftermarket product development processes & business development activities. Min. 5 yrs. experience in product management.
  • High knowledge of Pass Car products in chassis, powertrain and braking category
  • Strategic and analytic thinking and active execution of Product Strategy targets
  • Strong negotiating, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Strong ability to communicate product vision to the sales and marketing teams
  • Strong drive for results while developing competences and team's empowerment
