Engineering Intern - Winter 2023

Position Summary

The Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting the Chassis Technology Product Line with day-to-day tasks needed to launch new Technologies in the North American Region – utilizing limited procedures and basic understanding of engineering, business, and marketing principles.

 

Responsibilities

•    Execute and coordinate tasks associated with Chassis Technology Initiatives for commercial Vehicles  
•    Work closely with the other supporting functions – Purchasing, Quality, Marketing, and Sales
•    Manage task timelines and hold regular meetings to progress Initiatives forward
•    Provide written and or verbal updates to Internal Stakeholders as needed 
•    Understand and interpret marketing documentation from Region to help formulate  marketing plans
•    Generate and update of necessary documentation according to ZF guidelines
•    Prepare the release for prototypes to support Customer Testing and Release 

 

Qualifications

•    Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Technology, or related field

•    Must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office software
•    Strong problem solving and analytical skills

•    Good verbal and written communication skills 

 

This is a hybrid schedule: 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

Work Environment:  While performing the duties of the job, the associate is exposed to an office atmosphere with some manufacturing/lab exposure.
