ZF Engineering Plzeň is also newly involved in the development of diagnostic tools in Aftermarket solutions. The newly created team ensures the implementation of projects from business solutions to the technical specifications themselves. Be part of a team that designs and develops new diagnostic tools for our customers.

Your tasks:

  • Design of software architectures for vehicle diagnostics and maintenance solutions for the Aftermarket

  • Design of processes for vehicle diagnostics and maintenance solutions for the Aftermarket, including internal, cross-divisional, and operational (external) processes.

  • Design of ECU-related diagnostic applications from all ZF Product Engineering divisions from the Aftermarket perspective

  • Impact analysis of standards and legislation (German, EU, International) with relevance to Aftermarket vehicle diagnostics and maintenance

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline

  • Minimum 10 years experience in R&D of automotive industry

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Diagnostic solutions

  • Fluent in English (spoken & written), in minimum B2 level

  • German is an advantage

  • IT / Electronic system architecture (both HW and SW) of vehicles

  • Vehicle diagnostic standards, tools and technologies

  • Knowledge of automotive development processes

  • Cloud connectivity (technologies, standards, e.g. AWS, Azure)

  • Workshop repair & maintenance processes (after-sales)

  • EU legislation w.r.t vehicle diagnostics, repair and maintenance

  • Able to connect and cooperate with various stakeholders

  • Innovative approach and open to find new solutions

  • Ability to understand complex technical contexts (systems, interfaces, means of interchange)
