Become an expert who is dedicated to purchase software for ZF Aftermarket Digital Solutions catering to specialized fleets such as Bus Connectivity, Light Vehicles, and Workshop Digitalization. The role involves close collaboration with the developers from Digital Solutions units, and as one of three experts, working to design an efficient purchasing process, while ensuring alignment with ZF's overarching guidelines.

What you can look forward to as Senior IT Procurement Specialist for Digital Solutions

• Develop and manage software procurement strategies, guidelines, and processes. 
• Design and implement procurement and contracts for software solutions to support the Digital Solutions (SaaS, PaaS, Cloud technologies etc)  
• Work with cross-functional teams for technical specifications, research IT solutions vendors, prepare RF (RFI, RFP and RFQ) documents when necessary, evaluate vendors and negotiate contracts
• Work with cross-functional teams to issue purchase orders, monitoring their processing and expediting them when necessary
• Ensuring compliance with standards of IT industry
• Working closely with the Digital Solutions team members to understand IT and technology needs for the success of business line products.
• Responsible for vendor management, maintenance of software contracts lifecycle, license management and may help hardware procurement 

Your Profile 

• 5+ years of experience as a purchaser in IT, Research & Development or Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a technical study (e.g., Engineering, IT)
• Purchasing and sales skills, ability to negotiate with suppliers
• Genuine interest in modern IT and SW development technologies (SaaS, Cloud) and related toolings
• Advanced knowledge of purchasing software – we are using SAP
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Word
• Fluent English
• Analytical skills, flexibility
