We are looking for a motivated and communicative Procurement Specialist to manage procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and support our projects from inception to serial production. What can you look forward to as a Project Buyer: 

• Manage the whole purchasing process for new products or localization of existing products through supplier search and Bill of Material cost management; commercial negotiations, contractual agreements including warranty and consignment agreements, prototype orders, and purchase orders and/or scheduling agreements.
• Perform total cost analysis, preparing basis for decision during the project execution phase (BOM cost, tooling, supplier development cost);
• Responsible for achieving targets on cost reduction,
• Assess sourcing needs with project leader for assigned programs/projects
• Initiate and drive on time sourcing activities for components as required to meet targets for assigned programs/projects

Your profile: 

• Degree in Engineering (Economic, Business Administration, industrial engineering or related)
• Knowledge in sourcing and purchasing, project management with multiple suppliers/partners as well as in the areas of finance and key figure systems.
• Good knowledge of MS office package (especially Excel); knowledge of SAP would be an asset 
• Fluent in English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
• Good communication skills and assertiveness; teamwork; cooperation with cross functional teams
