We are currently looking for the skilled Product Manager who wants to have an impact with his/her work, to join our ZF Aftermarket digital products team in our existing office in Plzen. The team is working to deliver our ZF Bus Connect product (https://www.zf.com/products/de/cv/campaigns/bus_connect/bus_connect.html) and is focused on extending the value of this connected vehicle solution through a deeply collaborative effort between product, UX, data and engineering members. The team is leveraging the company’s existing knowledge and access to data of multiple thousands of buses to increase efficiency and convenience in managing the uptime of such vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to have an early and significant impact on shaping both, the new engineering organization and product while having the security of being part of one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers.

The Product Manager keeps close contact with the market and our customer groups and is a master in creation and updating of the product vision and roadmap. As a lateral leader, he/she inspires the cross-functional product team, defines and explains requirements, suggests go-to-market strategies and monitors the success of the product. The role will engage with the key stakeholders, including business line leaders, sales, product owners, UX/UI, engineering and enterprise architects to create the most advanced and optimal solution for ZF’s customers.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Conduct market and user research, propose market opportunity
• Create the product vision in alignment with division strategy, set business goals and inspire involved teams
• Produce product requirements, own the product roadmap and create smart iterative development sequence
• Define go-to-market of new products/packages/features with marketing team
• Monitor the success and value delivered by the product releases
• Act as lateral leader for the cross-functional product team, coordinate partners and stakeholders to make sure all are aligned around the strategy of the product. 

Required skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in product management of a complex digital product environment (cloud, IoT, Software) based on an academic degree (either technical or economical)
• Domain knowledge in any automotive or mobility related domain a plus (such as fleet management, logistics, electric mobility, public transportation, predictive maintenance, navigation)
• Relevant professional experience in principles of agile software/product development, analytical way of working, solution orientation, creativity and the desire to create/innovate
• Fluency in English, good communication skills, ability to create convincing visionary scenarios, to motivate teams and to organize buy-in by stakeholders, customers and partners
