Mechatronic Product Coordinator (m/f/d)

The Mechatronics product coordinator is the primary technical liaison ZF-internally, to the ZF suppliers and externally to the customer for product development and all functional changes with regards to ZF transmissions technology. He is responsible for the coordination and execution of more complex functional changes according to internal and external requirements. Mechatronics Product coordinator is responsible for customer product(s) development initiatives, which ensure the seamless and timely integration of ZF products into customer engineering projects. 

What you can look forward to as Mechatronic Product Coordinator?:

• Responsibility for the development/production support of mechatronic components used in automatic transmissions.
• Supplier management (internal and external) including improvement initiatives (cost down, function, processes).
• Coordination of the development/series production process of mechatronic components with local as well as global internal project teams and external suppliers.
• Creation and maintenance of requirement specifications and functional descriptions/change request. Gathering of requirements, evaluation for product specification and system architecture.
• Management of problem solving activities.
• Cooperation with ZF departments globaly, ZF suppliers, OEM.

Your profile as Mechatronic Product Coordinator:

• University degree in technical domain or comperable technical experience in job.
• Experience in project management in technical field.
• Working knowledge of technical aspects in system engineering and product design/development (specifically within a powertrain and/or automotive context).
• English corresponding to B2 level.
• Experience in automotive product development and series support.
• Ability to interface with key customers, cross-functional teams, and all levels of personnel/management.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Communication and negotiation.
