Cyber Security Architect - Design the CyS Solutions!

We are a small team of 7 Cyber Security experts located in Czechia and Germany. We are part of the international Cyber Security Center of Competence unifying more than 100 professionals. Our role is to shape the CyS architecture for all ZF products (transmissions, autonomous driving systems, fleet management and many others). In our team, we give the technical guidance, are responsible for strategy policies and providing recommendations to ensure the security of our products and fight against skilled hackers.


What can you look forward to as Cyber Security Expert?

  • Develop and update design patterns for product development in cybersecurity
  • Stay updated on relevant standards, norms, and regulations in cybersecurity, and implement necessary measures
  • Set minimum standards and recommendations for product security
  • Provide guidance and assistance to development, implementation, and testing teams
  • Enhance technical aspects of the ZF Cybersecurity Engineering Process and related materials
  • Conduct training sessions and offer onboarding support
  • Collaborate closely within CyS CoC, customers and other ZF stakeholders


Your profile as Cyber Security Expert

  • Degree in computer science, CySec, math, electronics, or related engineering discipline, or 5+ years experience in relevant industry or research
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts
  • Proactive, problem-solving mentality with attention to detail, pragmatic attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written technical skills in English (German or Chinese would be a plus)
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changing threat landscape
  • Experience in requirements engineering/writing and/or ASPICE and SW coding/prototyping skills (C/C++, Python, Rust, etc.) would be a great advantage
