Global Customer Quality Manager Interior and Electrical (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in our Customer Quality - Europe team for our site in Puteaux, Paris.


Your tasks:

  • Be ZF's central point of contact for one customer (for passive safety and electronics / ADAS products) on all group-wide and strategic quality topics (as a member of the respective ZF customer teams). Initiate and maintain the customer relationship including the preparation and participation to top management quality meetings
  • Support the development, definition, and implementation of a customized quality strategy as well as customer-specific quality goals (together with the Global Quality Key Account Manager)
  • Be responsible for planning and controlling of customized quality improvement programs and projects together with the dedicated Divisions and Business Units to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Lead customer quality escalation issues in the dedicated Divisions
  • Review Customer Specific Quality Requirements / quality assurance contracts and provide assistance with warranty requirements/-contracts to ensure ZF plants comply
  • Ensure a continuous customer-specific quality control of the field and delivery quality including the continuous improvement of quality performance. Ensure required input for the Voice of the Customer (VOC) based on quality score cards/portal data 
  • Plan and conduct quality systems / line walk audits to customer specifications prior to customer visits and audits in corporation with the Divisions, Business Units and Locations


Your profile:

  • Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related Engineering field
  • At least 10 years’ of experience in the field of Quality/Warranty and excellent technical knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Several years of experience in dealing with customers and handling escalation issues, Quality liability and warranty issue
  • Customer-oriented thinking and acting, high social skills and communication skills with assertiveness
  • Very good English and French language competency (written and spoken) , Italian is an advantage
  • Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
