Customer Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in the Active Safety Systems department at our location in Puteaux, Paris.

Your tasks:

• Management of complex Braking application projects and project team management to achieve the technical and scheduling requirements, as well as the cost objectives with optimum use of resources
• Main customer interface for hunting projects and close communication to our sales team; give technical support in the preparation and documentation of commercial quotes
• Capture and implement the defined and undefined customer requirements for the assigned development tasks
• Creation and maintenance of the project management plan based on the technical quote as well as regular reporting of project status internally and externally
• Initiation and Controlling of internal and external prototype requests. Support of customer development vehicle investigation activities on demand, and support of ZF braking exhibitions in France
   

Your profile:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology, Electronics, or similar field
• Professional experience in product/system development of vehicle braking systems would be a plus
• Ideally additional qualification or experience in project management (methods, techniques, tools)
• Customer oriented
• Fluent French & English (written and spoken), German is an advantage
