About the Team
The Accounting team is a key part of the Finance organization, responsible for accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and reliable closing processes. The team works in a dynamic, international environment and collaborates closely with Controlling, Tax, Procurement, and external partners. As part of a growing organization, the team plays an important role in ensuring financial transparency and supporting business decisions. Continuous improvement, digitalization, and teamwork are core elements of how the team operates.

What you can look forward to as Team Lead Accounting 

• Lead, coach, and organize the Accounting team, including task allocation and prioritization
• Oversee general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing in accordance with IFRS and/or local GAAaP
• Perform account reconciliations, booking reviews, and quality assurance
• Monitor liquidity planning and support cash flow management
• Collaborate closely with Controlling, Tax, Procurement, and external auditors
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax reporting requirements
• Maintain communication and collaboration with government authorities and regulatory bodies
• Prepare and submit required statutory, financial, and tax reports to government agencies
• Assist with financial analyses, forecasts, and reporting tasks
• Participate in digitalization and automation initiatives within Finance

Your Profile as Team Lead Accounting 

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field
• Several years of experience in Accounting, ideally with leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP
• Solid understanding of corporate taxation, VAT, withholding tax, and cross-border tax requirements
• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills
