Process Engineer for Special Processes (m/f/d)

About the Team:

Our Processes Engineering team is dedicated to developing and refining advanced manufacturing processes that ensure high product reliability and performance. We collaborate closely with production, quality, and design departments, providing strong technical support throughout the entire product lifecycle. The team plays a key role in industrializing new technologies, driving process stability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What you can look forward to as Process Engineer for Special Processes:

• Develop, optimize, and validate special processes for new and existing products
• Lead troubleshooting activities and drive continuous improvement of welding performance, yield, and cycle times
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability, process capability, and long-term reliability
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as process parameters, control plans, work instructions, and validation reports
• Support new equipment installation, acceptance testing, and production line ramp‑up
• Train operators and technicians on equipment operation, process controls, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with general safety standards, process safety requirements, and perform risk assessments

Your Profile as Process Engineer for Special Processes:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant technical field
• Professional experience in production engineering roles such as process, production, or industrial engineering (preferably within the automotive sector)
• Knowledge of LEAN tools and continuous improvement methodologies
• Fluent English skills (reading, writing, and communication)
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with technical documentation
