Your Tasks as Launch Manager:

 

  • Methodological and capacity support of plant during new product launch in order to accomplish SOP goals
  • Temporary set-up and leading of a cross functional project team (logistic, quality, production, engineering) ensuring a successful introduction of electric axle drives or electrical motors into series production
  • Point of contact of the project manager concerning the topics ramp-up quantities pre-series and post-SOP, customer deliveries, product quality, equipment efficiency
  • Planning and tracking of ramp-up activities achieving timing, quality and cost targets; initiating activities in case of deviations
  • Support of sub-projects regarding staffing, enabling and building up of needed competencies and methods in the plant
  • Linking contact for ramp-up with other related plants within ZF during that project phase

 

Your Profile as Launch Manager:

 

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field
  • Proven working experience in production environment, preferable in automotive industries
  • Proven working experience in the domain of new project implementation, SOP, cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assertiveness, high resilience, team-oriented work mentality, determination, social and leadership expertise, enthusiasm for responsible and independent action
  • Fluent English language skills
