End to End Transportation Coordinator (m/f/d)

About the Team:

Coordinate the complete transportation process for inbound, outbound and, where applicable, intercompany movements. Translate production, customer, supplier and site requirements into appropriate transportation solutions. Maximize utimization of inbound time windows and reduce Ready to ship pallets sitting at shipping dock.

What you can look forward to as End to End Transportation Coordinator?

• Coordinate inbound, outbound, and intercompany transportation activities, ensuring alignment between warehouse operations, customer requirements, and logistics partners. Serve as the primary transportation interface between the site, central functions, and external service providers.
• Ensure reliable daily transport execution through shipment monitoring, issue resolution, and proactive risk management. Analyze disruptions, implement corrective actions, and support contingency solutions to maintain customer deliveries.
• Monitor carrier performance against agreed KPIs and service levels. Drive performance reviews and continuous improvement actions with logistics providers.
• Control freight spending, support invoice validation, and ensure adherence to transportation budgets. Maintain and continuously improve transportation processes, standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop transportation reporting and dashboards to provide transparency on cost, service performance, and operational risks. Leverage digital tools, including Power BI, to support data-driven decision making.
• Drive initiatives to improve transportation cost, quality, efficiency, and delivery performance. Maintain shipping dock backlog below two days of "Ready-to-Ship" inventory and progressively work towards one day. Align customer delivery window requirements with shipping readiness and establish a stable, consistent flow through bottleneck elimination.
• Foster effective collaboration between Operations, Customer Order Management (COM), Central Functions, and Logistics Service Providers. Promote best practice sharing and alignment across all transportation-related activities.

Your profile as End to End Transportation Coordinator:

• Bachelor’s degree logistics, SCM, business admin; or strong freight-management profile
• Several years of relevant professional experience in transportation, freight management
• Practical experience in operational transportation and logistics-service-provider management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end transportation and freight-management processes.
• Knowledge of carrier and logistics-service-provider sourcing and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to develop standards, work instructions, specifications and training materials.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Working knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP and logistics systems.
• Knowledge of reporting and analytical tools, with Power BI experience desirable.
