Customs Clearance Specialist (m/f/d)

About the Team:

Responsible for ensuring customs and regulatory compliance of goods movements related to import and export operations within the Distribution Center. Ensures adherence to customs legislation, data accuracy, and timely fulfillment of reporting obligations (Intrastat). Minimizes risks related to international trade while supporting smooth material flow from a compliance perspective.

• Responsible for customs and regulatory compliance of goods movements.
• Ensure adherence to applicable customs regulations (EU and non-EU).
• Manage customs clearance for import and export shipments.
• Prepare, review, and maintain customs documentation.
• Prepare and submit Intrastat reports in a timely manner.
• Responsible for accuracy of data used for customs and statistical purposes.
• Ensure correctness of data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Closely cooperate with inbound/outbound Teams.
• Identify risks in customs processes and propose mitigation actions.

Your profile as Customs Clearance Specialist:

• Secondary or university education (logistics, economics, or related field preferred).
• Basic exposure to WMS or ERP systems (academic projects, internships, or first job experience qualify).
• Demonstrable interest in AI tools (Claude, GPT, Copilot, Gemini) — practical use in studies, personal projects, or work.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Czech and English.
• Knowledge of customs regulations (EU / international Trade).
• Experience with import and export processes.
• Knowledge of Intrastat reporting, Incoterms.
• Understanding of HS codes and product classification.
