Clerk Freight Management (m/f/d)

About the team:

ZF is establishing a new state-of-the-art distribution center in Ostrov, which will become a key logistics hub within our global supply chain. As a member of the Freight Department, he/she will mainly support activities at the Ostrov location.

What you can look forward as Clerk Freight Management (m/f/d)?

• Supporting the Supply Chain in managing inbound and outbound transports (from suppliers and to customers)
• Supporting day‑to‑day operations in transport logistics and tracking freight forwarder performance
• Acting as a contact person for subsidiaries
• Processing insurance claims and complaints, coordinating with relevant departments
• Optimizing goods flows and analyzing transport streams for network optimization
• Carrying out freight cost reporting and controlling activities
• Obtaining freight quotes and offers for routes/transports
• Participating in projects
• Verifying freight invoices for road, sea, and air freight, as well as for special transports and express/parcel service providers
• Handling complaints related to freight invoices and all matters concerning transport execution

Your Profile as Clerk Freight Management (m/f/d):

• Successfully completed training as a freight forwarding agent (or comparable qualification)
• Experience in freight management and transport logistics is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP desirable
• Knowledge of freight credit note procedures is advantageous
• Very good German and English skills required; additional foreign languages are a plus
