We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Onsite IT Support Specialist (m/f/d) to manage and support local IT infrastructure and provide direct assistance to users and Executive users.
Please note that this position is primarily onsite, with limited flexibility for mobile work. It is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a hands-on, in-person support environment.
What you can look forward to as an Onsite IT Support Specialist (m/f/d):
- Provide local support for IT hardware including network switches, access points, media systems in meeting rooms, visitor registration systems, CCTV, and end user devices
- Deliver first-line support and guidance to users on routine IT issues, while reinforcing the use of helpdesk systems for proper ticketing and prioritization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-priority issues, ensuring swift resolution and outstanding service, particularly for Executive users
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records including network diagrams, configuration files, and procedural documentation
- Contribute to internal knowledge management by reviewing and approving documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company standards
- Support the onboarding of new vendors and applications into IT Service Management and IT Operations workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally to review incidents, identify root causes, and promote continuous improvement initiatives
- Support IT-service catalogue and manage service agreements
Your profile as an Onsite IT Support Specialist (m/f/d):
- Proven experience in IT support, infrastructure monitoring, or related technical roles
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with ITSM tools, asset management, and knowledge management systems along with MS tools (e.g. excel, PowerBI)
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with global teams and external service providers
- Commercial experience/background beneficial
- Proficiency in English and German
