Hardware Requirements Management Engineer for Power Electronics

ZF is an innovation-driven company that develops volume production-ready products based on its own research and development efforts and thus invests in the future in a targeted way. We are currently expanding our R&D teams in Serbia and looking for a new colleagues who will join our team at our new location Novi Sad.

 

Your tasks: 

 

  • Responsible for HW Requirements of complex R&D (platform and application) projects in the field of Electric Drive Systems and Power Converters (Inverter, DC-DC Converter).   

  • Independently develop HW and ME functions for power electronics control units in electric drive systems.  

  • Create HW requirements in Codebeamer (or equivalent tool – e.g. DOORS) by using relevant policies and standards.  

  • Coordinate and release requirements in cooperation with stakeholders and create technical product description. 

  • Conduct reviews of HW requirements with relevant parties.   

  • Participate in effort estimation and planning in area of responsibility.  

 

Your profile: 

  

  • University degree in Electrical (Electronic, Power) Engineering, Vehicle Technologies, or comparable studies.   

  • Previous experience with Embedded HW and/or system engineering. 

  • Professional experience in the automotive sector is a plus. 

  • Knowledge of inverter and electric drive design in automotive applications is a plus.  

  • Dealing with complex technical issues in interdisciplinary teams. 

  • Flexible, stress-resistant, collaborative, and communicative.  

  • Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.
