Hardware Problem Resolution Management Engineer

ZF is an innovation-driven company that develops volume production-ready products based on its own research and development efforts and thus invests in the future in a targeted way. We are currently expanding our R&D teams in Serbia and looking for a new colleagues who will join our team at our new location Novi Sad.

Your tasks: 

• Coordinate the investigation and analysis of failures and defects found during development phase in electronic products e.g. power electronics in (hybrid) electric vehicles at the system, package and component level
• Documentation of root cause analysis, solution and verification in suitable problem tracking tools
• Representing the interface to internal as well as external customers and organization of the collaboration between the development departments
• Conduction of internal result discussions as part of an interdisciplinary team 
• Definition and improvement of analysis strategies for electronic products 

Your profile:  

• University degree with a major in electrical engineering or comparable studies with several years of professional experience, ideally in the international automotive sector. 

• Good knowledge of inverter and electric motor design in automotive applications. 
• Good knowledge of quality management and experience on working in international teams. 
• Good knowledge of circuit technology in power electronics systems and components. 
• Excellent analytical skills, a conceptual and creative mindset, as well as a good technical understanding
• Extensive experience in presenting and moderating as well as excellent communication skills
• High level of assertiveness and strong ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
• Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.
