HW Requirements Engineer

ZF is an innovation-driven company that develops volume production-ready products based on its own research and development efforts and thus invests in the future in a targeted way. We are currently expanding our R&D teams in Serbia and looking for a new colleagues who will join our team at our new location Novi Sad. 


Your tasks: 


  • Independently develop functions and architectures of power electronics control units in electric drive systems 

  • Responsible for the development of new security concepts for new inverter platforms 

  • Create system requirements in DOORS (or equivalent tool) and system architecture in CAMEO 
    by using appropriate policies and standards 

  • Coordinate and release requirements with customers and developers on a technical basis and create the technical product description 

  • Review concepts, implementations and test results  

  • Independently assess the technical prerequisites for the release of the product and create a release recommendation 


Your profile: 


  • Completed degree with a major in electrical engineering or comparable studies with several years of professional experience, ideally in the international automotive sector 

  • Excellent knowledge of inverter and electric motor design in automotive applications 

  • Excellent knowledge of project and quality management and experience with working in international teams 

  • Strong ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and to act professionally according to the situation 

  • High level of assertiveness as well as corresponding experience in dealing with intercultural contacts  

  • Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
